‘I love Females in Food because the camaraderie is unbelievable!’

Hi, I’m Chelsea Ford.

Founder of Females in Food; award-winning business coach and mentor; advocate for women-led small businesses; and a bonafide, gold-plated, passionate foodie.

I launched Females in Food Members Club in the Spring of 2016. The idea came to me after talking to hundreds of small food and drink business owners and hearing the same complaints over and over again: I don’t have anyone who ‘gets me’; I don’t know where to start; I’m in the kitchen all day and can’t grow my business; I have to do everything on my own so keep running out of time; cash flow is a real struggle. I know you get this, right?

I explored what options were available for small food and drink business owners and realized that yes, there were programs and groups available but the free stuff was very generic and mostly hit and miss; and the thousands of dollar programs were out of reach for most small business owners, plus they didn’t overcome the ‘alone’ feeling.

So, I created Females in Food to give creatives like you a place to go to get specific hands on help, a place to surround yourself with people who ‘get you’, and a place that boosts your business at a price you can afford. My mission from day one has been very clear: I want you to build an amazingly successful food and drink business – so let me help you. Let’s turn your ideas into action and turn those struggles into success stories.
